Thanksgiving 2010

We weren't able to celebrate on Thanksgiving because Kristin and I had a food tasting with a couple that was in town for their April 2011 wedding. We celebrated on Friday with friends and it was soo much fun! Still the same feeling of eating too much and enjoying family and friends for the evening.

I'll let the pictures tell the story.

After dessert, we all rested our bellies and then we cracked out the Wii! Watch out family, I have practiced my bowling skills yet again for the annual Christmas tournament! :)

The girls thought it was soo much fun to cheer on Eduardo!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving Everyone!

2010 Halloween Events

This year Halloween was soo much fun! I really didn't plan on a costume for the "adult" part of the weekend, but with the help of my creatively talented cousin we were able to throw something together really fast! Literally - two hours and it was DONE! I had the "face" planned. I bought false eyelashes and some glitter details to add to my face. It was fun pulling the details together and I was really looking forward to hanging out with my friends and having a FIRST adult halloween experience in Vallarta!

Here's how the night played out! First, some assistance from my family pulling the details of the "costume" together.

My gal pals - Marisol and Andrea!!

Even the spider (he was the mascot for the evening) was thirsty!

The evening after we celebrated and went trick or treating! This year we tried out the Boardwalk in the Marina. SOOOO much more enjoyable this year! You could walk and didn't feel like you were going to get trampled by anyone!

We met up with Doryan, Nesto, Melany and Chloe.

This is where the rich people store their fancy boats....

Soph's costume turned out sooo cute!!

She finally got excited!!!

Some other children came out a bit later!

Look at what I bought!! (haahaa - only in my dreams) - BUT, I did put it on my list for Santa!

We found a pretty cool restaurant to grab a quick bite!

And to wrap up this blog post a quick video of Sophia on her Halloween!
